When you think New York you are most likely thinking of the city, large, dirty and not all that pleasant. Well that is not all there is to New York. In this case we are talking about the state, not the city, which has so much more to offer than one of the most populace cities on the planet. Upper New York state is home to some of the finest beaches in the world.

The beach located in the East Hamptons appeared on the 2006 Best Beaches in the World list. This is a testament to the overall popularity of the beach and the area. The Hamptons is one of the most beautiful places on Earth and people all over the world flock there for some of the finest beach vacations that they can imagine.

This is kind of your untapped area. The East Hamptons beach is not what you would call the busiest beach in the world. The Florida beaches attract thousands more people each year, but that does not mean that the Florida beaches are better. To the contrary, the East Hamptons beach is popular because it is unknown to many.

Having a nice private time on the beach in New York is most certainly a possibility. There are many tourists but it is still not busy and crowded like so many others. The area is wonderful on the eyes and overall the finest in tourist attractions.
